My story

I've always believed in magic, my childhood passion was witches and fairies, hours upon hours spend mixing magic potions from the flowers I grew in my little garden.
As an adult I rediscovered this magic in the form of herbs and their incredible capacity to heal, nourish, balance and soothe. The Found Magic Herbal Haircare Range was developed as a result of the frustration I felt with traditional products that upset my scalp, flattened my curls and made me feel like a hostage to shampoo. I decided to explore the magic I had growing right outside my door and see if I could create something that would nourish my hair, soothe my scalp and bring back the bounce in my curls.

The beginning

I'm passionate about products that are good for our bodies, good for the environment and that feel incredibly good to use.
For me that means saying goodbye to ingredients that build our scalp's dependence on them by stripping out the natural goodness and then asking us to put it back in, silicas that get stuck in our strands and suck the life out of our curls, fragrances and other chemicals that disrupt our systems and harm our bodies. My vision is to create potent, healthy products that harness the magic of nature and help people to LOVE the way their hair looks & feels.

Found Magic's formulations only include Curl Method friendly ingredients, but they're all suited to straight hair too.

I have meticulously researched every single ingredient that I use in my formulations to find the ones that I could guarantee would do no harm, only good.
